Anti-discrimination measures
At Hays, we have a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment,

We recognise that affirming your gender is a deeply personal
journey. At Hays, we are proud to offer comprehensive support who
are affirming their gender, including paid Gender Affirmation Leave
and personalised Gender Affirmation planning.

At Hays ANZ, we are proud to offer a range of networks and
resources that foster inclusion, support, and wellbeing for our
LGBTQIA+ community and allies.
Pride employee resource group (ERG)
Our Pride ERG is a vibrant community of LGBTQIA+ colleagues and
allies, dedicated to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive
workplace. Through regular connect sessions, advocacy, and peer
support, Pride ERG members champion visibility and belonging across
Hays ANZ. We encourage all team members to join and contribute to
our ongoing journey towards true inclusion.
Confidential contacts
Confidential Contacts are members of the LGBTQIA+ community and
have received LGBTQIA+ awareness training and are available to
provide discreet, empathetic support and guidance to anyone
navigating gender identity, affirmation, or inclusion concerns. They
offer a safe space to discuss sensitive matters, answer questions,
and connect you with further resources - all in strict confidence.
LGBTQIA+ resource hub
Our Resource Hub provides colleagues access to guides, inclusive
language resources, allyship tools, and escalation points for
support. The Resource Hub is designed to empower all colleagues with
knowledge and practical tools to foster inclusion and support
colleagues across the spectrum of gender and sexuality.
Mental health & wellbeing
We recognise that wellbeing is essential to inclusion. TELUS
Health Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available 24/7 for
confidential support, and our Mental Health First Aid Network
includes certified first aiders in every region.
