The candidate is a highly experienced Advanced Rigger, Dogman, and Crane Operator with over 40 years’ experience across construction, mining, LNG, gas fields, marine, civil, commercial, shutdown, and maintenance environments in Australia and overseas. They hold extensive high-risk and site-critical qualifications including Advanced Rigger (RA), Dogman (DG), C2 Crane Operator, EWP, Forklift, HR licence, MSIC, Safe Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Test Atmospheres, along with S1–S3 Supervisor training with G2 and Coal Board Medical/S11. They have worked in senior operational, supervisory, project coordination, and training roles on major projects such as BMA Caval Ridge, QCLNG Curtis Island (Bechtel gas trains), UGL Biloela Cooling Towers, Rio Tinto Yarwun and Weipa shutdowns, and extensive wharf, conveyor, CHPP, and structural steel works throughout Queensland and Western Australia. Currently contracted with Downer EDI in Gladstone, they continue to deliver rigging, crane operations, and shutdown support across ports and mine sites. Known for his strong safety record, leadership capability, and ability to work autonomously in high-risk environments, Martin brings a depth of technical expertise, international project experience, and a proven commitment to safe, high-quality outcomes.
