This candidate has a Bachelor of science - Environmental and Sustainability. Has over 10 years experience as an Environmental professional, some of their working experience includes but is not limited to:
• Oversaw land clearing in environmentally sensitive areas adhering to the conditions outlined in the ground disturbance permit.
• Ensure compliance to design against state and national legislation, regulation and standards.
• Cross-department collaboration to revise and implement the Ground Disturbance Procedure, ensuring strict compliance with land clearing conditions. Conducted comprehensive on-site and online surveys before and after land clearing to maintain environmental standards and regulatory compliance.
• Strong ArcMap & GIS skills resulted in successfully extrapolating survey data to create various outputs.
• Built relationships across three traditional owner groups to foster excitement and create opportunities for them to spend time on the country and contribute to the success of rehabilitation of the mine, port and rail.
• Provision of advice to the business on rehabilitation practises such as planning, land form, design, topsoil & subsoil management, seed collection and storage, information for approval documents.
