A values‑driven philanthropy and community engagement professional with 10+ years’ experience across fundraising, donor stewardship, grant funding, program leadership and cross‑sector partnerships within not‑for‑profit and community‑based organisations. This candidate brings a strong relationship‑led approach to philanthropy, underpinned by a deep commitment to equity, social inclusion and community impact.

The candidate has extensive experience cultivating and stewarding individual, corporate and institutional donors, providing personalised updates, impact reporting and engagement opportunities to support sustained and increased giving. They have secured and managed $400K+ in grant funding annually, working across government, philanthropic and corporate funding streams, and are confident in writing proposals, managing reporting requirements and maintaining strong funder relationships.

In earlier philanthropy roles, the candidate supported the prospecting and early development of a planned giving / bequests program, identifying potential legacy donors and contributing to stewardship strategies. While not an end‑to‑end estate or probate specialist, they bring a solid foundation in planned giving concepts, donor motivations and long‑term relationship building, with clear development potential in Gifts in Wills over time.

The candidate is highly skilled in donor engagement and public representation, having represented organisations at donor events, community forums, panels and stakeholder meetings. They are a confident communicator, capable of articulating organisational impact clearly and authentically to diverse audiences, including donors, funders, community members and policymakers.

Alongside philanthropy, the candidate offers strong experience in program design, delivery and evaluation, having led complex initiatives addressing housing insecurity, workforce transition and social inclusion. They have designed evaluation frameworks, produced impact reports combining qualitative and quantitative insights, and used data to inform decision‑making and continuous improvement. Their work has involved close collaboration with government agencies, NGOs and community partners, often within complex and sensitive service environments.

The candidate also brings direct experience working with older adults in community care settings, strengthening their empathy, communication style and understanding of person‑centred, dignity‑focused service delivery. This background supports their suitability for organisations working with ageing populations or vulnerable communities.

Professionally trained in social work, the candidate combines strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery, and is equally comfortable managing donor relationships, building systems and processes, coordinating teams, or leading projects from concept through to implementation. They are known for their integrity, collaboration, adaptability and strong ethical approach to fundraising and community engagement.

This candidate is best suited to philanthropy, donor engagement, community fundraising or grants‑focused roles, particularly within mission‑driven organisations seeking a relationship‑oriented fundraiser with strong values alignment and growth potential in planned giving and bequests.
