Key skills:

• Pump maintenance and repair: Skilled in servicing, stripping, assessing, and repairing various pump types including slurry, process water, submersible, and bore pumps

• Mechanical assembly and construction: Experienced in erecting steel structures and assembling crushers, conveyors, agitators, gearboxes, and gold processing equipment

• Fixed plant maintenance: Proficient in maintaining and repairing crushers, conveyors, flotation cells, ball and SAG mills, and other plant equipment

• Machining and part fitting: Capable of precision machining and fitting components as part of general maintenance and engineering tasks

• Shutdown supervision and coordination: Assumed supervisory roles during shutdowns, overseeing gravity circuits, conveyors, and roasters while ensuring safety and efficiency

• Safety compliance and hazard management: Consistently followed safety procedures including hazard assessments, handover permits, and confined space protocols

• Team leadership and collaboration: Provided mechanical support and leadership to maintenance teams, contributing to production targets and operational efficiency

Key Qualifications:

• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitter and Turner)

• License to Perform High Risk Work

• Telescopic Handler Certification

• Confined Space Entry and Work Certification

• Gas Test Atmospheres

• Work Safely at Heights

• Construction Industry Safety Training

• WA “LR” Class Driver’s License
