Mechanical Engineer / Project Engineer / Project Design Engineer

My candidate is an engineering professional who has been in the Mechanical Engineering Industry for over a decade. They have worked in various industries including manufacturing and defence,
• This candidate has their master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical) and completed courses in Welding Technology and Lean 6.
• He is confident mentoring junior engineers.
• This candidate has gained experience with hydraulic equipment, exhaust and induction, heat exchanger systems, high pressure, piping design and maintenance, seawater and freshwater cooling, hatches including SUBSAFE and mooring and berthing equipment.
• Creating project scope, liaising with clients for the project, procuring all necessary materials, building schedules, liaison with contractors, review designs and presenting completed project.
• They are comfortable negotiating and reviewing all bespoke designs. During this time they have had to co-ordinate upwards of 30 projects at once.
• They are a member of the Australian Institute of Engineers, has an NV1 clearance, ITAR clearance.
• Proficient in using MATLAB, AutoCAD, ANSYS, Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project.
