Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Maintenance supervisor

This candidate comes from a engineering background, Advanced Manufacturing and Automotive Engineering and he has mainly worked in warehouses supervising the maintenance on various machines. · They have their Master's Degree in Engineering Science - Advanced Manufacturing, Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Advanced First Aid Certificate and stand alone certificates in CREO and AutoCad.
· They have their Confined Space Entry, Dogging License, Forklift License and Heavy Vehicle License.
· Single handedly created the reporting system that is currently being used at previous employment to ensure the quality and continuous improvement of the machines in maintained and adhered to.
· They were responsible for planning and overseeing all monthly shut downs, during his time he successfully minimised the downtime of all shutdowns.
· Responsible for generating jobs in Cmms and issuing work orders to the maintenance team.
· Selects and schedules onsite training programs relating to oil analysis, failure analysis, troubleshooting, lubrication best practices and contamination control.
· Managed a team of 11 employees consisting of 11 technicians, fitters, sparkies and lubricators.
· Confident Interpreting schematics and engineering specific drawings.
· Technical skills: CMMS, AutoCAD, Hydraulic systems, extensive experience with power tools, Identifying piece joints, Microsoft Office Suite.
