Maintenance Manager / Production Manager / Electrical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer

• He has spent the last 22 years working in FMCG manufacturing, with the last 8 years being in a supervisory position.
• He has worked over a range of positions spanning from Production Manager, Maintenance Supervisors, Engineer Fitter and Electromechanician.
• Responsible for maintenance shut downs, running root cause investigations, delivering daily toolbox talks, ensures compliance over all Health and Safety procedures, does that training of new maintenance and production staff, handles all disciplinary meetings, allocates and discusses KPI targets, does all time keeping, reviewing of timesheets and organises shift/roster changes.
• Electrical skills: Isolations, 400V Switching in Sub stations, Panel wiring / fault finding, Aluminium Pot Switching, P.L.C’s, AC Drives, DC Drives, Electrical Motors, Preventative &Planned Maintenance.
• Mechanical Skills: Brakes, Basic Welding, Basic Rigging, Mechanical Gearboxes, Pulleys, Conveyers, Valves, Bearings, Pumps, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Mechanical Breakdowns, Preventative &Planned Maintenance.
• Technical Skills: 300 in house training courses at BHP Billiton, 1 SAP System Experience, Participated in hands on technical projects, Operated various specialised mobile plant equipment, Working in confined spaces, Working at highs, 200-ton overhead Crane operator, Forklift operator, Isolation permit receiver, Workmate
