Currently residing in Brisbane, this candidate had initially come from an Electronical Engineering and Computer Science academic background. After university he joined the global engineering conglomerate Siemens in his native Austria.

Focused on the development of end-to-end railway systems, during this tenure he designed, built and deployed scaleable, modular and hardware agnostic platforms for clients throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and the US. Whilst extremely technical focused, this unique position also saw him work with global clients to deliver solutions to meet their unique needs.

Seeking to enhance his capabilities, he soon joined a Robotics Automation organisation in which he lead the development of various solutions for the automotive industry to automate their production facilities. This included not just software focused work but also hardware, systems and extensive customer interaction (Tesla, BMW, etc).

Wanting a better lifestyle, he soon relocated to Australia to initially become the Product Manager for the communications organisation NetComm Wireless (focusing on their enterprise IoT solutions) and later the Brisbane based startup Bighex.io (again focusing on IoT based systems).

Most recently (and relevantly), he had been working for the global mining automation firm Hexagon. As their Senior Product Manager here in Australia, he oversaw not only the design of digital technical solutions for the mines, but also the business aspects of these and his customers.

Unfortunately due to an internal restructure (including moving product development overseas), his position become redundant and as such is seeking his next technical appointment in Brisbane.
