I am currently travelling around Australia after spending over a year on an olive farm in Perth, WA. I have worked in the UK leisure industry, combining this with fourteen months of independent travel around Europe and Asia, during which time I have gained an enormous range of experience and developed valuable life skills.

I am highly organised, independent, and good at problem-solving. I have excellent communication skills and follow instructions confidently and competently. I am a capable leader who enjoys working as part of a team towards a common goal.

I am open and easy going but pride myself on being hardworking.  I have a natural ability to relate to people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. I am always keen to learn new things and adapt well to new systems and procedures, including new technologies.

My recent work experience in Australia includes working on an Olive Farm, as a farm hand for 17 months. 

My duties included:

• Experience in driving tractors such as Massey Ferguson, Case and John Deere, undertaking a variety of jobs like, slashing, spaying, ploughing and bin chasing. 
• Olive harvester driver for two consecutive harvests in an OXBO 6430 and 6420, performing repairs and maintenance daily.
• Operated zero-turn mowers, whipper snippers and blowers to efficiently cut and maintain large areas around the farm.
• Maintained irrigation systems, including cleaning of mainline valves, flushing and repair of drip lines.
• Carried out large scale, controlled burning and use of fire units
