Fleet Manager – Available for Temporary or Permanent work – Remote or Onsite 

An experienced Fleet team member with both public and private sector experience has recently finished up a long term contract with Hays and is immediately available to commence work with a fast paced organisation.

They have provided a high quality of customer service to fleet drivers such as assistance with motor vehicle claims management, pro-actively consult with existing customer on a regular basis to obtain a clear understanding of customer needs. 

They have had responsibility for approx. 200 vehicles in-house nationally, they have administered Tool of Trade, Novated & Commercial Lease’s, as well as Fuel & E-Tag ordering and insurance management.

They have managed transition from in-house system to a leasing company, procurement of new vehicles and contracts and distribute processes & procedures for all drivers. They co-ordinated new vehicle delivery & change over disposal and were responsible for all authorisation of maintenance

They have co-ordinated and reported on vehicle quarterly checks to ensure vehicle safety compliance, maintain and update the fleet policies, co-ordinate new vehicle deliveries and disposal of ex lease vehicles. 

Achievements have included negotiating the introduction of LPG vehicles to fleet which resulted in a cost saving of fuel approx $485,000 per annum, negotiated and introduced dealer delivery service of new motor vehicles to workplace to increase efficiency, and introduced a cost saving initiative to the business by the introduction of driver log books.
