This highly experienced Mechanical Fitter and Turner brings over three decades of hands-on expertise across a wide range of industries, including mining, manufacturing, maintenance, and construction. Trade-certified since 1988, he holds a current driver’s licence, forklift licence, and overhead crane ticket. His recent roles with Hays Recruitment, Austchrome, and UGL have seen him perform precision fitting, diagnostics, and repairs on industrial gearboxes, pumps, and heavy mining equipment, including Komatsu trucks and traction motors.

He has a strong background in workshop machining, shutdowns, and field service work, and is proficient in operating lathes, mills, and presses. Earlier in his career, he held supervisory and training roles, managed CNC programming, and worked extensively in abattoir maintenance and house restoration.

His diverse skill set, safety-first approach, and adaptability make him a valuable asset for mechanical maintenance and fitting roles in both industrial and field environments.
