This candidate spent a number of years working for a multinational pharmaceutical business, both in Sydney and Singapore, eventually managing the finance function for a number of manufacturing sites all across the APAC region.  On their return to Sydney, they worked for ten years for a service company in a Commercial Finance Manager role for the APAC region.  Again, this was a multisite business, and they managed the finance function in its entirety, including consolidated P&L and balance sheet for over 100 business units, management reporting with commentary, full year forecasts, budgets and long range plans, as well as weekly P&L forecasts.  Their most recent role was with a Chartered Firm and while they enjoyed the client contact, they realised that the commercial world is definitely where they add the most value.  This candidate is passionate about working to achieve the best outcomes and is comfortable building relationships with people at all levels of the business.  They love to challenge the status quo and establish themselves as the 'go to' person to provide business planning, performance reporting and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.  They are also confident in their ability to develop and mentor teams to reach their full potential.
