This candidate is available at short notice as they have taken a short-term role following redundancy from their previous employer following an acquisition.  They worked for this business from 2017, through a few acquisitions, and were responsible for all elements of the month-end process, preparation of AU and NZ BAS, PAYG and income tax, cashflow reporting, fixed asset registers and continuous improvement activities.  This candidate actively participated in process improvements and was required to constantly liaise with other departments, from staff to managers, to find ways to streamline processes and close loopholes.  They are CPA qualified and have experience using a variety of accounting software as well as solid Excel skills.  They actively participate in process improvements and were able to demonstrate their ability to build and manage relationships with key stakeholders outside of finance.
