After relocating to Australia from Europe, they began their career at a large retailer in a data entry role, progressing over 11 years through positions in buying, project management, logistics, replenishment, and performance analysis. They then transitioned to a Commercial Analyst contract at another retailer, optimising data visibility, followed by a permanent role as a planning analyst, where they focused on budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis of various departments and product lines. They later joined a large US-owned business as Finance Business Partner for a newly acquired division, managing a portfolio that grew from $12 million to $35 million in the time they worked there. Reporting to the CFO in Singapore, they collaborated closely with sales and operations teams and oversaw a financial team across India and China. They successfully led the budget preparation process, refined forecasting procedures, conducted profitability analyses, and drove revenue growth by up to $10 million.
