Currently based in Sydney, this candidate has unique background of management consulting within the mining technology domain. Starting within the software engineering filed, he soon moved into technology consulting after completing his MBA. Entering the mining domain over 10 years ago, he joined the specialised transformation consultancy Vantaz Group.

Working with clients such as BHP and South32 across not just Australia but also Singapore, this long tenure saw him take these organisations through a myriad of digital, business and technological changes both onsite and from a corporate perspective. Implementing network upgrades onsite, contract negotiation (including BHP’s global US$100 Million contract negation with Rockwell), deploying collision avoidance detection systems for trucks, fleet management systems, the establishment IT-OT operation models and the standardisation of business practices between business units, his management consulting experience has seen him become a ‘Jack of trades’ across technology in the mining sector.

Continuing in this niche, he soon went on to contract for organisations such as Rio Tinto and DXC to apply his unique blend of business acumen, technical skills and mining experience to where it was most needed. Having just finished a short contract with Bluestone Mines to outline their digital strategy, he is seeking a permanent in-house position with longevity in which he can grow and make a difference.

Whilst having lived in Queensland for many years, he recently relocated to Sydney to attend to some family matters. Now these have been resolved, he is open to relocation (or working in a hybrid approach) for the right role. He has full working rights and is available immediately.
