A versatile and highly motivated Boilermaker with over a decade of hands-on experience in fabrication and welding across mining, heavy machinery, and structural steel sectors. Certified in 3G MIG and FCAW welding by TWI, they are confident working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and wear-resistant alloys. Key Skills:

• Maintenance and repair of crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps, and chutes

• MIG, FCAW, and stick welding across various metals and alloys

• Fabrication of structural steel components for large-scale construction projects

• Installation of bulk handling systems including belt cleaners, air cannons, and dust suppression units

• On-site welding and fabrication under tight deadlines and challenging conditions

• Conveyor system maintenance including pulleys, belt tracking, and guarding

• Fabrication of custom brackets, guards, skirting systems, and access platforms

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and plant operations

• Adherence to safety protocols including confined space entry, hot work permits, and lockout/tagout procedures

• Efficient and detail-oriented work in high-production environments

Key Qualifications:

• 3G MIG Weld Certification – TWI

• 3G FCAW Weld Certification – TWI

• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Fabrication & Welding

• City & Guilds Level 3 Engineering Diploma

• Working at Heights and Confined Spaces Certification

• Rio Tinto, FMG, and Mineral Resources Inducted
