Executive Finance – Executive Finance candidates with ASX, UK or US listed experience are in demand given that more regulatory based businesses are seeking key leaders in finance.
FP&A – In addition, businesses are looking for candidates with group and divisional financial planning and analysis skills as they want more detailed information when presenting to key internal and external stakeholders.
Change Managers – Due to the current economic climate where organisations are becoming more competitive and trying to improve processes, systems and culture, businesses are seeking experienced change professionals to assist with embedding frameworks and change plans to transition both organisations and individuals to a desired future state. More often than not Change Managers work as part of a project or program team and are therefore typically brought in as contractors.
Finance executives – Companies on the whole are looking for cost savings in key areas and consequently candidates are sought to develop and lead transformation programs, both in specific areas as well as for broader strategy roles.
CEOs – These executives are needed in the not-for-profit sector due to industry change resulting from the introduction of the NDIS. There has been a reluctance to make recruiting decisions at the executive level leading up to the election in the last quarter, but we have seen stronger sentiment from NFP employers around recruitment decisions since the election.
Candidate levels are high.
