Referrer FAQ’S

How can I refer friends and get credit for my referrals?

When you register for the program at hays.com.au/refer-a-friend or hays.net.nz/refer-a-friend you will receive a unique URL which you share with your friends to refer them. Your friend then clicks on your unique url and is taken to a landing page where they register their details with Hays, and from there, go on to apply for a role or upload their CV with Hays. If they are successfully placed into a role and meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the Ts & Cs then you will receive a $200 e-gift card by email from Hays.

How do I access my unique share url?

You will have received a welcome email where you can access your unique share link. If misplaced and you are already registered, visit the registration page hays.com.au/refer-a-friend or hays.net.nz/refer-a-friend and click on Already registered? Access your unique link here. It then takes you to the login page where you can select ‘forgotten password’ and an email will be triggered to your registered email address to allow you to reset your password and access your dashboard.

No, you just need to go back to your dashboard though the link in your welcome email and you can refer from there using your unique link.

When will I be notified if the person I referred gets a job?
