Your new role
As a Workshop Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting production activities across various departments. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with cutting, welding, gluing, and sealing of vinyl, canvas, and other materials.
- Operating machinery such as RF welders, plotter cutters, eyelet machines, and sewing equipment (training provided).
- Supporting the tool bag section with packaging, quality checks, and assembly.
- Helping with workshop setup and shutdown procedures, cleaning, and maintenance.
- Assisting with counter sales, customer service, and freight coordination.
- Participating in staff training, safety meetings, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- A current open “C” class manual driver’s licence.
- The ability to read, write, count, and perform basic maths accurately.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic computer skills (desirable).
- A commitment to workplace health and safety practices.
