Your new role

As a Workshop Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting production activities across various departments. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting with cutting, welding, gluing, and sealing of vinyl, canvas, and other materials.
  • Operating machinery such as RF welders, plotter cutters, eyelet machines, and sewing equipment (training provided).
  • Supporting the tool bag section with packaging, quality checks, and assembly.
  • Helping with workshop setup and shutdown procedures, cleaning, and maintenance.
  • Assisting with counter sales, customer service, and freight coordination.
  • Participating in staff training, safety meetings, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
  • A current open “C” class manual driver’s licence.
  • The ability to read, write, count, and perform basic maths accurately.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Basic computer skills (desirable).
  • A commitment to workplace health and safety practices.
