Our client is a Mackay‑based business specialising in the supply of new, used, and reconditioned tractor and heavy machinery parts. Your new role
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Service Department and Operations
- Manage work orders, including creation, costing, closure, and accurate record keeping
- Process timesheets, payroll inputs, and labour cost tracking for employees and contractors
- Support project tracking, including monitoring costs, progress, and reporting on variances
- Raise and process purchase orders and requisitions, ensuring cost-effective procurement
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and archiving in line with business requirements
- Coordinate inventory returns, credits, and stock control activities
- Assist with internal reporting and continuous improvement of operational efficiency
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in an administrative or coordination role (2+ years preferred)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data, financial, and records management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems (intermediate level desirable)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Basic education (minimum Year 10) with a current driver’s licence (desirable)
- Ability to maintain compliance with company policies, safety, and legislative requirements
