The Opportunity

Our client is a growing national plaintiff law firm with a strong reputation in personal injury and workers’ compensation law. With a team of over 100 legal professionals and consistent year-on-year growth of 30%, the firm is now seeking to expand its Workers’ Compensation practice in Sydney. There are two positions available, open to lawyers at Associate, Senior Associate, or Special Counsel level.

Your new role

As part of this high-performing team, you will take a lead role in managing a broad portfolio of personal injury and workers’ compensation matters. Responsibilities include overseeing client care throughout the lifecycle of a claim—from initial engagement to resolution—while ensuring high standards of legal service delivery. The caseload includes a wide range of claims such as workplace injuries (including back injuries and carpal tunnel syndrome), asbestos-related disease, industrial illnesses, falls, and construction site incidents. You will manage a busy practice with a file load exceeding 100 matters.

What you'll need to succeed

  • At least 3 years PQE in Workers Compensation
  • Excellent plaintiff experience
  • Strong advocacy skills
  • Ability to think strategically to identify growth opportunities
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
