Your new company

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to join a large State Government department in East Perth. This role is for an immediate start, on an initial 3-month temporary contract.

Your new role

  • Submission of Worker’s Compensation Claims as prescribed by the workers' compensation and injury management legislation, including rate of pay calculation.
  • Maintain and monitor worker’s compensation and rehabilitation records.
  • Liaises with staff regarding claim progress, claim related queries and rehabilitation process.
  • Assist the Injury Management Coordinator with return-to-work programs for injured employees.
  • Assist the Injury Management Coordinator with the development and implementation of workers' compensation and rehabilitation management system to ensure effective and efficient management of claims.
  • Claims management of low-risk claims within the prescribed legislative period and according to approved procedure and process

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in similar roles
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • A current police clearance, dated within the past 3 months (or willing to obtain)
