Our client is a well-established and highly regarded joinery manufacturer, specialising in high-quality custom joinery for residential and commercial projects. With a strong pipeline of ongoing work, they are looking to add an experienced Wood Machinist to their growing team.
Your new role
Working within a busy workshop, you will be responsible for operating a range of woodworking machinery and supporting the production of high-end joinery.
Duties will include:
- Operating machinery such as panel saws, edge banders, spindle moulders, and thicknessers
- Cutting, shaping, and preparing materials to specification
- Assisting with assembly of cabinetry where required
- Ensuring accuracy and maintaining high-quality finishes
- Adhering to workshop safety procedures and keeping a clean work environment
What you’ll need to succeed - Previous experience as a Wood Machinist or in a cabinet making workshop
- Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery
- Ability to read and interpret plans and measurements
- High attention to detail and pride in expertise
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and in a team.
