Join this industry leader at an exciting time, to support multiple long-term projects. Based in Southern Sydney, this is a 12-24 month contract, paying $70-$75 p/h + super.

Your new role

• Lead and advocate for project safety initiatives.
• Offer guidance on Safety in Design.
• Serve as a Subject-Matter Expert for Human Factors and Process Safety, acting as the main contact for all high-level risk assessments throughout the project's lifecycle (from concept and design to construction).
• Provide authoritative expert WHS advice and recommendations in relation to best practices, the latest guidance and scientific research, Australian and international standards for improved design and modification of new and existing facilities and operational practices.

What you'll need to succeed

• Must possess the ability to work autonomously.
• Strong communication skills are essential to effectively influence project teams.
• Minimum Cert IV in WHS with demonstrated experience.
• Ability to provide conventional, industrial and research safety advice to the organisation
