Your new role
This is a 12 month non-ongoing opportunity with potential for extension.
As the Senior WHS Advisor, you will provide specialist WHS advice and support across capital works, construction and operational activities. You will work closely with internal teams and contractors to ensure WHS risks are effectively managed across the full project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced WHS professional with a strong background in managing construction or high-risk operational environments. You will be confident working across complex settings and applying a practical, risk-based approach to safety.
You will demonstrate:
Proven experience applying WHS frameworks in construction, infrastructure or similar high-risk environments
Strong understanding of contractor management, including reviewing safety documentation and monitoring performance
Experience conducting audits, site inspections and incident investigations
The ability to provide clear, practical advice and influence stakeholders at all levels
Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage across diverse teams
The ability to manage competing priorities and work across multiple projects and operational areas
A minimum Certificate IV in WHS is required, with higher qualifications highly regarded.
