Your new company is located inland from Darwin the project focuses on exploration and mining of titanium-bearing minerals like ilmenite and magnetite. Due to an increase in workload our client is currently seeking Wet Plant Operators DIDO from Darwin.

Your new role

We are seeking skilled Wet Plant Process Operators / Leading Hands on a 2/1 roster DIDO from Darwin.

A Wet Plant Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a plant that processes ore using wet methods, including grinding, flotation, and other separation techniques. Key responsibilities include maintaining high housekeeping standards (hosing, shovelling & general hand labour tasks) and regular monitoring of process check-points across the plant i.e. valves, gauges, splitters, screens, chutes and possibly some mechanical pumps you will also be responsible for conducting daily inspections to ensure safety and compliance.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Wet plant experience is highly preferred

• Open Driver's Licence
• Ability to undertake a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol
• Ability to undertake a police check
• Demonstrated safety commitment.
• Team leader skills
