Your new role

• Perform welding and fabrication on council assets, including plant, equipment, and structural components.
• Assist with repairs and maintenance of fleet vehicles, heavy machinery, and public infrastructure.
• Interpret technical drawings and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with other trades to deliver timely and efficient outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed

• Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent.
• Proven experience in welding and metal fabrication.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current White Card and driving licence preferred.
