Your new role
Attend and participate in daily site meetings
Monitor and analyse the water treatment process plant
Collect and record operational and process performance data
Service the water treatment plant
Report and monitor daily activities
Operate machinery
Perform physical labour as needed
Conduct maintenance, installation, repairs, and operations of the water treatment system
Perform duties and operate equipment safely
Uphold a safe and positive image of our client and their company
What you'll need to succeed
Required Skills:
Capability to work independently with enthusiasm and energy
Essential qualification in Water Treatment
Strong preference for experience with Membrane Systems
Mandatory WHS Requirements (white card)
Must be familiar with SAP
Standard 11 & CBM
Preferred Skills:
Background in Mechanical or Electrical trade
General maintenance experience
Mining experience is advantageous
5-10 years’ experience in similar position
Manual car licence preferred for site vehicle
What you'll get in return
If successful in this position you will obtain a full-time role with our client, this is commencing ASAP. The role involves providing operational and plant maintenance for a site-specific water treatment plant. Procedures are established in SAP and will vary from shift to shift. The position requires close collaboration with the national operations manager and other employees, as well as frequent communication with overseas colleagues. This is a DIDO (Drive-In Drive-Out) role with an 8 days on / 6 days off schedule, working 12 hours per day and being on call while onsite. This position includes accommodation, meals, and a vehicle provided during your time onsite, kilometres to and from site will also be reimbursed.
