Warehouse Manager – Silverwater

Salary: $95,000 + Super

We’re seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor ready to step up into a Warehouse Manager role. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company, take ownership of operations, and lead a small team while remaining hands-on.

Position Details
  • Location: Silverwater, NSW, Australia
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (with flexibility for overtime during peak periods)

Position Purpose
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including inventory control, staff supervision, compliance with safety standards, and efficient handling of imported goods from the United States. This role ensures timely and accurate stock management to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods
  • Maintain accurate stock records and conduct cycle counts
  • Implement FIFO and stock rotation best practices
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff
  • Allocate tasks and monitor performance
  • Optimise warehouse layout and workflow
  • Ensure timely processing of shipments and orders
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers for US imports
  • Enforce WHS standards and company policies
  • Conduct safety audits and incident reporting
  • Use WMS for tracking and reporting
  • Prepare weekly operational and KPI reports

Performance Expectations
You’ll be measured on accuracy, efficiency, safety, cost control, and team productivity.

What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Hands-on approach with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • MUST have a valid forklift licence
