A well established organisation within the commercial services sector is seeking an experienced Warehouse 2IC to support day‑to‑day warehouse operations at their Derrimut site. Your new role
As the Warehouse 2IC, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and dispatch of product across a busy warehouse environment. You will support the Warehouse Manager, act as a point of escalation for the team, and help maintain a safe, organised, and high‑performing operation.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting the organisation, receiving, storing, and dispatching of stock
- Picking and packing orders accurately
- Preparing outgoing freight to ensure it is safe and fit for purpose
- Conducting cyclic stock checks and reporting discrepancies
- Monitoring warehouse KPIs including DIFOT, stock accuracy and damages
- Supervising operations and staff when the Warehouse Manager is absent
- Maintaining a strong safety culture and reporting hazards or incidents
- Working collaboratively with production, supply chain, logistics and transport teams
- Building trusted relationships with customers and suppliers
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
- Extensive experience within a warehouse environment
- Cert III in Warehousing Operations or similar (desirable)
- Strong sense of urgency and a “Make It Happen” customer service mindset
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Confident problem‑solving ability and strong communication skills
- High attention to detail and a commitment to completing tasks accurately
- Current LF Forklift licence and Australian driver's licence
- A proactive, ownership‑driven approach with a focus on presenting solutions

Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 + Super
