Your new role

We are looking for a knowledgeable and expert educator to take on the coordination of the college’s vocational nursing programs, including the Diploma of Nursing. You will lead a team of educators, using your experience and knowledge to ensure a high quality of delivery and student experience. This is a growing team within the college and there will be an opportunity to utilise your expertise in the growth of this team and discipline. This is a full-time position, based on-site at the college's Fremantle Campus.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will:
  • Be appropriately qualified with a certificate IV in training and assessment, a relevant tertiary qualification in Nursing and current registration with AHPRA with no conditions or undertakings related to performance or behaviour.
  • Demonstrate experience and capabilities in working to current and towards future RTO standards and regulations.
  • Have proven experience in leadership of programs, including the ability to conduct training needs analysis, design capability frameworks and develop training programs aligned to industry needs and in line with VET regulatory frameworks.
  • Be an astute people leader with the ability to engage, lead and inspire quality outcomes in your trainers, leading to high levels of satisfaction and engagement in students.
  • Have strong relationship building skills, connecting and engaging with stakeholders in the sector to ensure a strong alignment of programs to the needs of the sector.
