We are currently seeking an experienced Urban Maintenance Officer to join a local council team. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining clean, safe, and well-presented public spaces across the community.
Your new role
- Carry out cleaning and maintenance of public infrastructure including streetscapes, open spaces, and community assets
- Operate plant and equipment to perform maintenance tasks safely and efficiently
- Undertake general upkeep such as litter control, asset cleaning, and minor repairs
- Ensure all work is completed in line with safety standards and council expectations
- Support the team with other maintenance duties as required
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum MR (Medium Rigid) Licence
- White Card
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Previous experience in urban maintenance, drainage or cleansing
