On offer is an exciting opportunity to join an established heavy truck dealership in Perth seeking an experienced Truck Sales Manager to lead and grow its new and used truck sales operation across Western Australia. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone who understands the heavy vehicle market, can coach high-performing sales teams, and knows how to turn pipeline into consistent revenue.


Your new role

Reporting to the Dealer Principal, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the truck sales function, including:

  • Leading, mentoring and developing a team of Truck Sales Executives

  • Driving new and used truck sales volume, margin and market share

  • Setting sales targets, forecasting, and managing pipeline performance

  • Building strong relationships with key fleet, mining, construction and logistics customers

  • Managing OEM relationships, pricing strategies and stock mix

  • Ensuring compliance with dealership processes, reporting and brand standards

  • Working closely with finance, service and parts to deliver end-to-end customer solutions


What you'll need to succeed

This is a role that blends strategic leadership with front-line customer engagement. You’ll bring a strong background in heavy vehicle sales and a proven ability to lead teams in a competitive market:

  • Demonstrated experience in truck or heavy vehicle sales management

  • Strong knowledge of the WA heavy transport market

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and hold teams accountable

  • Commercially astute, with strong negotiation and deal-closing capability

  • Confident managing key accounts and large fleet customers

  • High level of professionalism, integrity and customer focus

  • Current Australian driver’s licence (HR preferred but not essential)
