About the Role:This role reports to the Operational Readiness Lead and supports leaders in creating and delivering effective training plans.
This role exists to design and baseline the training plan for new starters. The focus is on post project operational readiness for people—translating technical, operational, and risk information into role-based learning pathways, assessment, and Verification of Competency (VoC) that enable safe, consistent performance from Day1.
You will synthesise multiple information sources—including OEM technical documentation, commissioning/handover packs, operating procedures, critical control requirements, isolation/permit standards, SAP master data and PM strategies, risk assessments (JHAs/JSAs/Bowties), and existing learning content—to produce a cohesive, resourced, and scheduled New Starter Training Plan

What you'll need to succeed:- Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment (or Diploma) required; technical trade or qualification
- Experience in mining, processing, heavy industry, or technical environments.
- Strong training, facilitation, and presentation skills (coordination and training development desirable).
- Proven ability to conduct training needs analysis and develop training plans, content and delivery.
- Solid understanding of adult learning principles and varied teaching methods.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (SAP SuccessFactors and Moodle preferred).
- Ability to lead change, mentor others, and promote safety principles
- Strong relationship-building skills across all levels.
- Australian working rights.
