Our client is a trusted Australian-owned provider of electrical and energy solutions with extensive experience in industrial construction. They deliver end-to-end services across mining, infrastructure, and power generation projects, including design, engineering, manufacturing, and installation. With over 30 years of proven performance, they are known for delivering high-quality outcomes and supporting complex infrastructure developments.

Your new role

  • Assist carpenters with installing internal walls and doors
  • Work with CFC sheets and cladding materials
  • Contribute to the fit-out of a new switch room facility
  • Operate EWP safely and efficiently
  • Adhere to all WHS procedures
  • Perform general site setup and clean-up tasks
  • Carry out additional duties as directed by tradespeople

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous carpentry trades assistant experience required
  • Must have EWP ticket and experience
  • White Card
  • Living locally in the Mackay region
  • Contactable references

What you'll get in return

If you're successful in securing this opportunity, you'll be joining our highly-regarded client on an 8-week project, with the possibility of extension. Enjoy the benefit of a Monday – Friday roster, doing 10 hours per day. To be considered, you must have previous experience off siding a carpenter and hold an EWP ticket with experience.
