A well-established manufacturing business is seeking a reliable and motivated Trade Assistant to join their maintenance team for an immediate start.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced injection moulding environment, ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who is looking to build a long-term career within a technical or engineering trade.

Your new role

You will provide day-to-day support to the maintenance and production teams, assisting with preventative maintenance, breakdown support and general factory tasks. This position offers exposure to manufacturing machinery and a clear development pathway for the right individual.

What you'll need to succeed

Machinery setup and assisting with tool changes
Basic welding and grinding tasks
Assisting fitters and maintenance technicians
Supporting preventative maintenance activities on tools and machinery
Using preventative maintenance software after training
Preparing and cleaning work areas, tools and equipment
Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
Assisting with receiving materials and stock control
Operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes
Adhering to WHS regulations and site safety procedures at all times
