Join a leading energy provider supporting critical infrastructure across the Hunter region. With a strong focus on safety, reliability, and operational excellence, this organisation is seeking skilled Trade Assistants to support ongoing maintenance work at a major power station.

Your new role
As a Trade Assistant, you will work alongside qualified tradespeople to assist with mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting with the installation, repair, and servicing of plant equipment
  • Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Supporting shutdown and outage activities
  • General labouring, cleaning, and site preparation
  • Adhering to strict safety protocols and procedures
What you'll need to succeed
  • Previous experience in a heavy industrial or power generation environment
  • White Card (Construction Induction)
  • High Risk Work Licence (desirable – e.g. Forklift, EWP)
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
  • Confined Space lvl 1 and 2
