About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to support a short-term review of Rail Cyclone Preparedness documentation. The focus of this engagement is on realignment, consolidation, and consistency, rather than the development of new material.
Working closely with Health, Safety and Systems stakeholders and supported by document governance, you will help ensure documentation is clear, consistent, and aligned across Rail operations and key interfacing departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and realign Rail Cyclone Preparedness documentation;
- Edit and consolidate existing documentation to ensure consistency;
- Ensure cohesive alignment across Rail departments and clear interfaces with related Port, Infrastructure & Services and operational documentation;
- Support the mapping of documents across relevant departments to enable review and formal sign-off;
- Apply document governance principles and quality standards throughout the review process.
What you'll need to succeed:- Strong technical writing experience, ideally within an operational or industrial environment.
- Proven experience working with existing procedures and controlled documentation.
- High attention to detail and strong understanding of document governance.
- Confidence engaging with a range of stakeholders and working autonomously.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, including formatting and structure control.
- Experience in mining, rail, or heavy industry environments.
- Availability to start immediately.
