Technical Trainer for a Motor Claims Insurer Job opportunity in Melbourne

We are currently representing a highly established and reputable General Insurer. Their products include; Car, Motorcycle, Home, Contents, Pet and Travel Insurance products as well as Roadside Assistance.

Due to a substantial increase in workload across the state, they are currently looking to bring on several new Trainers, based out of their Northcote Assessment Centre. Whether you are and experienced Motor Assessor OR are a Certified Panel Beater OR Spray painter looking for opportunities within Insurance, this could be your opportunity to gain that career advancement!

Your new role

  • Improving the Motor Claims Operation expertise through improved training programs
  • Develop and implement Motor Claims Operation Induction training and ongoing development
  • Driving improved process efficiencies by maintaining the knowledge management of Motor Claims
  • Continuous improvement of the learning material for the Motor Claims Operation to assist the onboarding of new team members and transition into their roles
  • Provide a roadmap for ongoing technical training for the Motor Claims team
  • Improving attrition and staff engagement by increasing motor claims knowledge
  • Continuous improvement of Complaint handling and performance at First Point of Contact
  • Ensure compliance and business risk policies are both adhered to and challenged to meet the commercial, legislative, and business environments
  • Ensuring the change program is executed and embedded
  • Identify technical training requirements according to operational needs

What you'll need to succeed

  • Industry trade qualified (Preferably 5+ years’ experience)
  • Experience and current knowledge of the motor body repair industry
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and prior experience training & mentoring
  • Sound level of computer literacy
  • Excellent time management & the ability to multitask
  • Ability to work independently and effective time management
  • Valid Driving Licence
