Your new role
The client is seeking a hands‑on Technical Business Analyst to support a critical payroll transition program. The organisation is moving from an existing payroll vendor (Frontier) to a new outsourced payroll provider, requiring the redesign and delivery of several business‑critical integrations.
Accountabilities
The Tech BA will act as the client representative when engaging with key external parties, including Westpac and DXC (Oracle partner), and will play a central role in re‑designing, challenging and documenting all payroll‑related integrations across systems.
This role is heavily technical and suited to a BA who is comfortable working at logical and physical integration design level, challenging vendors, and owning full end‑to‑end documentation.
- Lead end‑to‑end integration analysis and redesign across payroll, ERP and banking systems
- Re‑draw and document complete integration flows (current and future state)
- Produce detailed API specifications, data mappings, sequence diagrams, and an error handling model.
- Challenge existing designs, identify inefficiencies, and propose more resilient integration patterns.
- Work directly with developers, architects, Westpac and DXC to validate integration designs
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst on complex integration programs
- Strong background in ERP, payroll and banking/payment integrations
- Experience with Oracle ERP environments
- Ability to work at deep technical detail (physical/interface design)
- Oracle ERP
