The business is expanding its cloud engineering capability across ANZ to support secure transformation in regulated environments.


Australian Citizenship with NV1/NV2 clearance is essential.


Your new role

As the Technical Architect – GitHub / DevOps, you will lead enterprise migrations from Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise and support broader application ‑ modernisation across Azure PaaS. Acting as a senior technical leader, you’ll guide teams across migration strategy, DevOps automation, CI/CD uplift and cloud ‑ native hosting, ensuring secure and compliant outcomes across hybrid and cloud environments.


Key responsibilities include:

Leading end ‑ to ‑ end Azure DevOps → GitHub migrations using GEI or equivalent tooling

Validating post ‑ migration repos, issues, pull requests and metadata

Driving application modernisation across Azure App Services, Functions, AKS and containers

Analysing configurations, dependencies and performance

Troubleshooting migration and deployment issues with GitHub and internal teams

Maintaining documentation, validation checklists and remediation logs

Implementing monitoring via Log Analytics and Azure ‑ native tools

Providing architecture leadership and mentoring for engineering teams

Shaping migration strategies with stakeholders and customers

What you'll need to succeed

12+ years across software development and cloud architecture

Strong experience with GitHub Enterprise, Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions CI/CD

Azure PaaS expertise: App Services, Functions, AKS, ACI

Development experience in .NET, Java, Node.js or Python

Strong containerisation knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes)

Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash or Python

Experience with API integrations and large ‑ scale repo migrations

Strong troubleshooting, documentation and stakeholder skills

Relevant certifications (GitHub, Azure DevOps)


NV1 or NV2 clearance (mandatory)
