Your new role
Will be working a 7.5-hour shift between 8am and 7pm Monday to Friday. Your role will be based in a high-volume inbound and outbound contact centre, where you will be leading a team of customer service officers who are on inbound and outbound lines. You will identify and report the development needs of the team along with providing coaching and mentoring to ensure that the customer service officers are working in line with department objectives. You will manage underperformance where required and work to motivate your team. Along with this, you will be responsible for addressing escalated calls such as complaints or complex enquires.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience leading a team.
Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring staff
A strong background in customer service with the ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing work priorities.
Be able to work within a framework of legislation, established principles, work practices and procedures.
A resilient and adaptable nature with a positive outlook towards change.
A strong attention to detail and the ability to self-develop your skills in line with department expectations.
The ability to be able to work a typical 7.5-hour day rostered between 8am and 7pm Monday to Friday
Have strong technical skills and the ability to grasp new concepts well and easily
Please note: You must be an Australian citizen to apply for this role. Shortlisted candidates will be required to have a current National Police clearance issued within the last 6 months and two references completed.
