Your new role

As Team Leader – Strategic Planning, you will lead a small, high‑performing team delivering strategic and statutory planning outcomes. You’ll provide expert advice on land‑use policy, oversee key planning instruments, and work closely with senior stakeholders to shape long‑term urban and placemaking initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

You’ll have a tertiary qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline, strong experience in strategic and statutory planning, and demonstrated people‑leadership capability. Excellent communication skills and confidence in working with senior stakeholders, elected members and the community are essential.
