Your new role
Lead and mentor a team of accountants, ensuring high quality work and ongoing professional development
Oversee technical tax advisory and compliance services for small business clients, including tax planning & strategic tax optimisation.
Strengthen client relationships and drive retention through exceptional service and proactive communication.
Manage & grow a client portfolio, identifying opportunities for additional services and cross‑referrals.
Improve internal processes by streamlining workflows and implementing best practice systems.
Demonstrate leadership and commercial acumen in preparation for partnership progression.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or CA qualification (essential)
- 4+ years at a Manager level within a local practice
- Proven ability to manage and grow a client portfolio in annual fees.
- Strong understanding & experience of working on client group structuring
- Strong leadership & relationship management skills
- Proficiency with Xero, (Also desired NowInfinity, Class, and FYI Docs)
