Your New Role;

As the Systems Engineering Team Lead, you will be responsible for mentoring, managing and delivering in the systems engineering space. This is a hands-on role working in the autonomous defence space. Previous experience in aviation, aerospace or aerial platforms is highly desirable. You will be working with a team of like-minded engineers while gaining exposure to global markets, working directly alongside C - Suite level management. You will be working in South East Melbourne with flexible working arrangements.

  • Designs and development of unique solutions for assessing system performance
  • Experience in developing detailed test requirements, plans, and procedures based on product design and system requirements
  • Execute test operations such that all tests are completed in accordance with the defined test procedures and standard processes.
  • End to end systems engineering experience and developing systems engineering requirements.
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders on the development of system requirements
  • Developing verification and validation procedures

Key Requirements:

  • Qualifications in engineering or systems engineering
  • Exposure working with a diverse team in a manufacturing or product delivery environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with stakeholder management experience.
  • Demonstrated capacity for continuous improvement and strategic vision.
  • Ability to empower and unite teams around clear objectives, acting as a coach and servant leader.
  • Mechatronics, robotics, software control are also highly desirable.
  • Aerospace, aviation, aerial platforms, UAS or UAV knowledge are desirable.
