You will be working for a Telco company based in Sydney.

Your new role

You’ll take ownership of Linux‑based infrastructure and Red Hat OpenShift platforms, ensuring performance, security, and availability across virtualised and containerised workloads. Working closely with Network, Application, and Security teams, you’ll help deliver scalable platforms that meet strict uptime and compliance requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong Linux engineering background (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu, SELinux, systemd, storage, networking)
• Hands‑on OpenShift administration across infrastructure and workload layers
• Solid experience with virtualisation (VMware or KVM / OpenShift Virtualisation)
• Proven GitOps delivery with Argo CD and CI/CD tooling
• Experience designing and operating high‑availability systems
• Practical networking knowledge (L2/L3, DNS, firewalls, TLS, CNI, OVN‑Kubernetes)
• Strong operational mindset: incident management, on‑call, change and release processes

• Experience in telecommunications or carrier‑grade environments
• Exposure to NFV, CNFs, or network/service assurance platforms
• Understanding of OSS/BSS systems and telco‑related regulatory requirements
