I am currently working with a company working across multiple areas of expertise in the maritime space, specifically in Electronic Warfare. After significant expansion in the Canberra HQ, they are looking for a mid to junior level systems engineer to join their growing team. We are seeking engineering professionals to support a range of technical programs across various sectors. The position involves working with engineering documentation, change processes, and system configurations within complex environments. Full-time role, below the line defence, highly attractive salary with additional growth opportunities. NV1 clearance required

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain configuration and change management plans
• Establish and control system baselines
• Conduct audits and assessments related to system integrity
• Develop and maintain configuration management plans in accordance with Defence standards
• Establish and control configuration baselines for defence systems and subsystems
• Conduct configuration audits
• Prepare, review, and process Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) in accordance with Defence requirements.
• Conduct impact assessments for proposed engineering changes
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Knowledge of Defence configuration management standards
• Experience with Defence programs
• Knowledge of ASDEFCON
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS, Windchill, TeamCenter)
• Knowledge of systems engineering standards
• Qualifications in relevant engineering disciplines
• Current NV1 Clearance
