Are you an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter looking for a long-term opportunity in the Pilbara?

We are seeking skilled and safety-focused HD Fitters to join our client’s high-performing maintenance team, supporting a large Komatsu mobile plant fleet across their operations near Marble Bar, WA . This role begins on a temporary contract with the strong potential to transition to permanent employment for the right candidate.

Your new role

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on Komatsu trucks, loaders, graders, and ancillary equipment.
• Complete component changeouts, breakdown repairs, fault-finding, and general mechanical duties.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation in line with site requirements.
• Work closely with the maintenance team, supervisors, and other trades to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Adhere to all site safety standards, procedures, and regulations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean and organised work area.

What you'll need to succeed

• Australian Trade Qualification – Heavy Diesel Fitter / Mobile Plant Mechanic / HD Mechanic.
• Demonstrated experience working with Komatsu mobile plant, ideally in a mining or heavy industrial environment.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance practices and component life-cycle management.
• Current C-Class Driver’s Licence (HR preferred).
• A strong commitment to safe work practices.
