Join a global manufacturing business as their Supply Chain Coordinator, gaining a role in the team in the Northern Beaches on an initial 6-month assignment with opportunity for an immediate start and potential for extension and permanency.
Your new role
In your new role as Supply Chain Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:
Interaction between key customers and suppliers, ensuring effective flow of the production process to meet customer orders and business objectives within agreed timeframes.
Supporting management in the coordination of the production team to maintain output in order to fulfil customer orders in a timely manner.
Managing vendors and ensuring adequate stock availability, looking after invoicing and expediting as required, while maintaining accuracy within the ERP system.
Preparation of reports regarding inventory availability, key logistics metrics, and purchasing, while identifying opportunities for improvement within the supply chain function.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a similar role, with demonstrated understanding of inventory management, purchasing, and supplier management.
Solid level of IT-competency, with exposure to ERP systems highly regarded, and proven data entry and analytical abilities.
Strong communication skills, with a customer-focused approached, and the ability to engage key stakeholders both internal and external.
